Strengthening Families Program

This program provides family skills training designed to enhance school success and reduce substance use and aggression among youth. The program features parent, youth, and family components. It helps families improve the relationship between parents and youth and decreases the level of family conflict. Listed on the National Registry of Effective Programs and Practices (NREPP) for documented changes in youth drug use and family management issues.

Presentations for Older Adults Program

NCADD provides interactive educational programs in a Jeopardy game format—Just like the game show! For these programs, audience members can form teams to increase the competition—and the excitement! Senior Jeopardy features six individual one-hour education programs on a range of topics including:

  • Conflict Resolution
  • Substance Use and Abuse By Older Adults
  • Nutrition and Healthy Aging
  • Prescription Drugs
  • Maintaining a Healthy Mind
  • Healthy Coping
