2012 Tree of Hope to be Awarded to Renovation House Print

This year's event will be held Monday, September 24, 2012, from 6pm to 8pm at Renovation House, located at 200 Jefferson Street in Perth Amboy.

NCADD's annual Tree of Hope campaign has raised the consciousness of our neighbors in Middlesex County to the fact that addiction is an illness from which many do recover, and to celebrate those recoveries.

As we've done in each of the past ten years, NCADD will recognize an organization which has contributed to the cause of recovery by planting a live tree.

2011 Tree of Hope featured a Candle lighting cermony. The event was held at Blake Recovery Center at Carrier Clinic.

Renovation House is being honored for the work they do in providing long-term rehabilitation services that address their clients' physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Renovation House focuses on the three dimensions of man— spirit, mind, and body — within a tightly regimented program. Their twelve-month program provides men with the one-on-one counseling, support, and structure they need to remain drug and alcohol free for the rest of their lives. They provide the spiritual sustenance, devotion, and discipline that men learn to rely on in times of disappointment, stress, grief, or anger.
