The 10th Annual Middlesex County Prevention Education Summit returned to familiar territory this year when the annual event was held at the College Avenue Student Center at Rutgers University's New Brunswick campus.
Hundreds of professionals including educators, County officials, members of the law enforcement community, addiction providers and municipal alliance members came to hear presentations on –"Positive Youth Development and Community Prevention" as well as "Drugs, Alcohol, Athletes – What's happening – What Works".
They also attended one of four breakout sessions where presentation on "What's Happening in Our Schools", "Drug Court Works", "Current Trends in Social Media", and "Medication Assisted Treatment" were held.
Master of Ceremonies Doug Collier, Special Agent for the Drug Enforcement Administration, New Jersey Division was just one of the many special guests in attendance.
