NCADD Seeks Nominations for 2012 Tree of Hope
NCADD of Middlesex County, Inc. is seeking nominations for its 2012 Tree of Hope recipient. NCADD's 11th annual Tree of Hope campaign is designed to raise the consciousness of our neighbors in Middlesex County to the fact that addiction is an illness from which many do recover, and to celebrate those recoveries.
Each year in September, NCADD celebrates National Recovery Month by dedicating a physical tree and a plaque to an organization that promotes recovery. Our annual Tree of Hope event is the primary fundraising vehicle that supports our confidential information and referral Helpline. Previous Tree of Hope recipients include:
2002 – Crawford House
2003 – Hurtado Health Center at Rutgers
2004 - Raritan Bay Medical Center
2005 – Friendship Hall
2006 – Princeton House
2007 – New Hope Foundation's Open Door
2008 – Crawford House
2009 – Oxford House
2010 - Elijah's Promise
2011 - Blake House at Carrier Clinic
Nominees must be organizations or institutions that support recovery from alcohol, tobacco and other drug (ATOD) dependence. The nominee must provide its services or support to the residents of Middlesex County.
